Alexandria, VA, May 2, 2016—The National Association of Career Travel Agents (NACTA) is planning special educational opportunities and prize drawings in May, which it is designating “Travel Consultant Appreciation Month.”

In celebration of the event, NACTA will feature two free webinars, special content, offers, and prizes explicitly for travel consultants. In addition, in honor of NACTA’s 30th anniversary conference celebration, one NACTA member will be chosen in a Grand Prize drawing for a three-day conference pass along with a complimentary three-night stay at the Westin Fort Lauderdale Hotel during the event, valued at $750. NACTA members also have a chance to win a 2nd Grand Prize drawing—a complimentary conference pass to attend the 2017 NACTA Annual Conference in Anchorage, Alaska in September 2017.

To Hold Land and Sea Conference in Florida in 2016, Alaska in 2017

December 30, 2015, Alexandria, VA —The association representing independent agents—the National Association of Career Travel Agents (NACTA)—is on a growth trajectory as it prepares to celebrate its 30th Anniversary in 2016.

"Our growth is nothing short of phenomenal," said NACTA President Ann Chamberlin (formerly Ann van Leeuwen). "NACTA represents some of the hardest-working travel consultants in the business. We added eight new chapters in 2015 for a total of 52, we had a sold out conference in Kona, Hawaii, and we have new technology in place to promote our travel specialists with consumers. But, we could not do any of this without our dedicated, volunteer chapter and regional directors."
