National Association of Career of Travel Agents (NACTA) - Your Voice in the Travel Industry
The National Association of Career Travel Agents or NACTA, was started in 1986 with the vision to be a voice for the independent travel consultant. Today, NACTA has expanded to welcome all career travel consultants by representing the interest of professional sellers of travel.
NACTA recognizes the value of all professional sellers of travel including independent, hosted, employed franchised and entrepreneurial consultants.
NACTA is proud to be owned by ASTA (American Society of Travel Advisors) who is the only travel industry trade association, defending, protecting and promoting the travel agency community.
NACTA membership includes travel consultants, host agencies, supplier and convention visitor’s bureau travel partners. These channels add to the vibrancy and collective power that form our association.
NACTA provides the finest education, training and FAM program to ensure the current knowledge and expertise of our members. Programs include our webinar supplier series, Seminars at Sea, 24-7 education center, and exotic land FAMs which include highly rated land based resorts. All of these programs are designed to assist the travel consultant in their sales and marketing efforts to increase their profits.
