Fall 2014
Please join NACTA staff, chapter leaders, special guests, global suppliers, and fellow members at the NACTA 2014 annual conference in sunny and relaxing Phoenix, Arizona, October 30 through November 3, 2014, at the majestic Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa.

Member registration of just $249 for the three-day meeting includes most meals, receptions, gala awards dinner, member social events, access to global suppliers, and educational workshops to help sharpen your business skills.

We’ve expanded programming a full day to include the Hawai’i Specialist certification program—an important designation, as Hawaii is a favored wedding and honeymoon destination. Nearly one hundred members attended the popular workshop last year. Lisa Sheldon, CTC, MCC, executive director of the Destination Wedding & Honeymoon Specialists Association, complements the program with Do You Have the Heart for Romance Travel?, a destination wedding and honeymoon educational session. DWHSA is an association of North American agents specializing in romance travel. Because honeymoons remain a lucrative market and romance travel interest among independent travel consultants is intense, we’re including and highlighting this training and coursework toward certification.

Destination weddings and romantic vacations have become increasingly popular, and today’s vacations may include children, family members, and friends. NACTA promotes specialization for its agent members and sees destination wedding and honeymoon specialization among the most promising consultant moneymakers. At our conference, learn how to tap into this lucrative market, which will share the spotlight with our premium, luxury, river and specialty cruise, and valued tour and hotel partners.

The annual conference helps independent agents learn how to keep their businesses current, links consultants with suppliers, and provides advice on negotiating, marketing strategies, agency branding, and social media to target new customers. Participants will receive advice from a variety of guest speakers representing various segments of the industry.

Experience Arizona and our conference, and engage yourself in workshops and seminars to enrich and inspire all aspects of your business. NACTA offers this educational conference to enhance your growth and business potential.

NACTA has fun—and gets business done. Join us at Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa. You deserve it!

See you in Arizona,

Ann van Leeuwen, CTIE
President, National Association of Career Travel Agents
