Mid-Winter 2015

Meetings and Events are where it’s happening! This year is no exception: We’ve experienced—in true NACTA fashion—our best travel consultants connecting and consulting on new business opportunities with our supplier partners at several of our events.

The NACTA staff team collaborates and reviews myriad venues and destination options each year, with the intention of building spectacular and memorable meetings and events for you to enjoy and conduct business during. These events help members stay visible in the industry, and help them learn about new and emerging destinations and product options for their clients.

In 2015, NACTA travel professionals participated in NACTA’s first Florida Summit; traveled to Bali and experienced luxury hotels with the help of our friends at Starwood; cruised Alaska’s inside passage in veranda cabins, thanks to Holland America Line; were awed by the mystery of Marrakesh, Morocco, through ASTA’s Destination Expo; realized the meaning and convenience of all-inclusive at Sandal’s Royal Bahamian Resort and Spa; and experienced the wonder of Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. These and many more offerings were created to help NACTA members to learn and experience travel, and be the best they can be when consulting with their clients.

In 2016, NACTA will celebrate its 30th anniversary! Come celebrate with us as we return to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and take a four-day cruise on the Celebrity Infinity for our annual conference next fall. We will celebrate our past, when NACTA started as a cruise-centric association. We will toast our future, as today we represent and sell a variety of cruise products from contemporary to luxury, and support beautiful destinations such as the Greater Fort Lauderdale area.

The saying goes, “You can’t sell what you don’t know.” That’s why NACTA provides many meetings, events, and educational options for you to stay in the know. Our goal is to keep you experienced, informed and a happy, proud member of NACTA.

As a friendly reminder on membership, the Chapter leadership team carefully reviewed more than 20 member benefits and found membership in NACTA valued at a whopping $2,500 annually. Don’t let your membership lapse: Renew now at a modest $125.

Cheers!
